2. 1827 Capped Bust half dollar  I had a hard time choosing between this one and the last to put in the number 2 and 3 spots. Earlier in the week, I had the 1859-O as number 2 and just today, I put this one as number 2. Quote: What was this coin graded? It looks like it is in a PCGS holder. I will post the coin in the grading forum and reveal PCGS's opinion late Thursday or Friday.

I am glad this is not a competition... there is so many really nice coins it would be hard to choose which I like the best. Here is my #2 coin pick 1829 over 7 Capped Bust half dollar

Well, as I said up front, my "Favorite 12" are in order of date, not preference, so here we go with... #2 - 1927 Standing Liberty QuarterI know how much y'all like original finishes on coins, and this one is almost black when viewed in hand. I actually considered giving it a quick dip when I first got it, but now I'm glad I didn't.
