Monster-DDR!-Malaysia-10-Sen-1997

Hi! Just bought this from a non-variety coin collector for about USD30.

So far only 2 specimens has been reported found.

I try to analyse what kind of DD for this coin. I think is it belongs to Class V - Pivoted Hub Doubling.

Pivot point is located somewhere at 3.30 o'clock.

Correct and advise me please! Thanks. :)

A lot of odd stuff(errors and such) has came out of the mint in that year. A lot of it was more than likely assisted.

Hi DVCollector,

Thanks. 20/20 looks nice but I think the strongest doubling is at somewhere 9.30 o'clock but due to many devices (legend) the doubling is not so nice compare to 20/20.

Hi ErrorCoins222,
Yes I agree that during 2004, 2005, 2005, many major error coins were churned out from our mint. Bottlecap, major multi strike, and even impossible normal mint error coin also has been reported exist. They are all assisted and and I have heard that someone has been caught doing it.

By the way, I don't think those assist-er would venture themselves into hubbing process. Or is there any assisted case for DD has been reported?
