Ahh, all familiar sights. Mine tends to swing violently between pirate cave and spartan flatland. :-)

However, I've just re-arranged things in my new apartment so that I have a dedicated numismatics desk (my late grandfather's numismatics desk in fact; it's now next to my work bench) and a separate reading desk for everything else. :-)

I wish I could keep my stuff out like that. Would probably spend more time studying them and less time (and $) buying more.

Libertad, air tites with foam rings, not the direct fit. I am not a big fan of the direct fits. I can fit odd shaped coins in these types. It also prevents any shifting. Plus I like the look.

I was about to ask the same thing regarding Acetone. I thought cleaning coins was bad. Does that not count?

Depending on the day and who you ask Acetone is okay to use to clean coins..
Personally it worked well to bring out dates on Buffalo's for me..
That's about all I used it for..

I have an oak dinner table dedicated to my work. I love this table, it weights about 200 lbs.

Yep but not sure I would want to use it indoors...

Great for removing PVC and any other organic contaminants from a coin

Pretty funny. There's not a whole lot of in between here, it seems, just the extremes. Spotless or a total disaster. :)
