Yes, J&M is my main reference site for Canadian coins, I ordered the holder from the site like 12 hours ago, $10 shipping is quite crappy but still the only one I could find.
I just fell in love with the Zeus one because it brought back memories: my dad got me my first coin book when I was like 8, it was from the '80s but still a nice book that I brought everywhere and read. In it, every time I went in the Canada coin section, I would always see that nice Zeus $10 coin I just liked the details of it, so when the seller brought out the coins, that was first thing I noticed.

My mother-in-law has this same set she wants me to sell for her. Anyone know how much they're worth & the best place to sell?

Around $1400, best place to sell would probably be ebay, and it probably sells higher if you have the case to put it in.

Talk about the proverbial red headed step child.
That girl has no soul.
Canada ... Period. Do they all have the dot?

Sorry, I got carried away with all the pictures that I forgot to read what was there already! I think the '76 Olympic coins were (are) better than the modern ones because the coins were larger, therefore they had more field with which to work. The designs aren't AS cartoony and they have more detail than the generic looking Vancouver coins.
That 2008 coin at least is stamped "BS", so the mint gave us fair warning! (just kidding, no offense to the engraver it's only a joke! Some of us are biased towards older more traditional coin designs.) :D

I agree with most of you....76 series is far superior to the Vancouver Series.

Very nice set 10xloupe! Will you try to buy the $10 73/74 Map mule to put with your set? I think it would be a incredible set if you did buy one.

Book value is about $1400 but realistically I would not expect more tha $1200 in this market.

do the 10 dollar coins carry any premium over their silver value. I have 2 of them I got them for about 13 each. I dont even know how to weigh them because they are still in the sealed case.

Canada 1976 Summer Olympic $10 Coin: 44.95 grams of sterling silver (92.5% silver) for an actual silver weight (asw) of 1.337 Troy Oz. There's not much of a premium on these pieces, typically selling for near spot silver price... although there are some expensive errors. I bought a couple of $10 coins on a whim at scrap value, about 4 years after issue, when they lost most of their popularity. Both are ecapsulated.
