Does anyone have information about this set when sold in a walnut chest? Just going from memory, the chest is about 25 cm x 25 cm x 25 cm, with brass hardware, and a lock and key. There are seven drawers, each for one 4-coin series of the Montreal Olympic set, with a golden coloured medallion with the roman numeral of the series. I have only seen a couple of other instances of this presentation format, such as: http://www.thecoincompany.co.uk/277.html
Was this chest available separately? I see no mention of it in Charlton amongst the myriad presentations sold by the mint. I inherited my set from my grandfather, who would have collected the coins at the time. Mine are cased circulation strikes, like Apollo's, and it seems he likely bought them by the series, as I have COA for series II through VII, rather than a COA for the whole set. Series I appears to have been purchased as circulation pieces, uncased. Thanks!
