A gentleman on a different thread made a point about Morgans being used quite often in old western movies.

An Indian reaches in and pays off a innkeeper with what seemed to be a a $50 Pan-Pac. They show it clearly, but I am not 100% sure what it was, It did have the 6 or so sides. Thats my story and IASTI.

He says he will be back for his change, later, and then he is discussed as being involved in a past robbery by the innkeeper who summons the law. Then he is questioned and seemed uninterested and innocent.

This is one of the most fun threads in a while. It has brought back so many memories. I watches Dennis the Menace in re runs when I was a child and I remember the one about the lost coin and Dennis finds it in his change at the end and gives it to Mr. Wilson

There's an episode of Matlock where the criminal is caught because he took coins from a proof set on display at the crime scene and spent them at a local shop.
