Hi guys, brand new to the world of coin collecting and this was given to me. Looking at the back of the coin I don't think quality is good. Would somebody be able to possibly give it a rough grade / estimate of price. I know the 32 is the rarest florin but I'm just not sure how the quality affects the price

I've been looking for one of those. Condition affect the date? I see these from 190. to well over 10,000.

Very Good - Almost Fine, $150-220 (really depends on the day), I'm talking about ebay prices, alternatively take it into a dealer they may offer you $100.

I agree, the condition is probably VG-aF. You dont have a full band line on the kings crown but it does have the full motto (advance australia), plus some evidence of feathers on the emu. Around $200 retail is a fair estimate as to value.
