My husband tries to act interested, but he doesn't get it.

My Hubby is one of my largest contributors and enjoys them almost as much as I do. He's always asking me "what does your Coin Community think about such and such coins, bullion and so forth!" I'm a lucky girl!

When I have a significant other I usually end up not buying many coins since most my money goes towards entertaining them... But my father thinks I am working on a good investment. My mother gets annoyed because I have thousands of dollars in coins but still drive around in a car I hit a deer with and cut it pretty close when it comes time to paying tuition. All in all, I'm pretted supported. Good things, Ty

My wife is very happy with my collecting of coins. She is happy to have me out of the house and out of her hair. hehehe
I must admit she also is a collector (not coins) so I have no problem with her unless I spend up BIG without telling her first.

I thought my wife was into it and she was for the first year but now I have inherited the things she was collecting and now she doesn't care for it. Lucky me. As long as I don't go over my budget she wouldn't care if I collected roadkill. She is back into collecting jewelry which doesn't do anything for me so I guess it is a wash.

Strongly encouraging -- my partner collects stamps and dabbles in coins and I collect coins and dabble in stamps, so we both feel that we both collect both. Didja get that?

I vote 'Strongly encourage'. My hubby's sister is a collector also so he knows of the hobby. When I started to pay more attention to the few I had he encouraged me continue. He said "whatever makes you happy" do it.

My wife was sitting next to me and I asked here what the answer was. She said strongly discourge. But I disagree a little because I think she is moving towards the encourging side of things. Since if she really stronly discourged it then she would not buy me coin for christmas and birthdays and aniverasy whould she.

My husband generally doesn't care, he goes hunting for most of the fall and I don't mind that. Plus it has made his Christmas shopping for me easier on him. (No more blenders or toasters for me) Margaret

As long as the bills are paid and we have groceries then what ever is left gets split between needlework for my wife and coins for me. You think coins can be expensive try picking up a hand painted needle point canvas for less than fifty bucks.....
