Just wondering I got a friend that say he has a 2 dollar 1954 without a serial number. I got him digging it up so I can put a picture on here. But I'm just wondering has anyone ever heard of such a thing. Pic hopefully to follow.

Yes, These do exist, however they are often faked (people try to use chemicals to remove the serial number).

So is there a way to tell if it's been tampered with. Is there a website or any other info would be great.
