WOW a penny from the year 200! Amazing that they were able to tell lincoln would be president. Amazing that they had American currency. Amazing that they even knew about America. lol I could go on, and on..

Seriously tho, doesn't it cost $$ to put up an auction? Why do these people bother? I remember someone was selling a tooth pick on ebay that "Michael Jackson had used just prior to this man picking it out of the trash" and I think it sold for a couple of thousand dollars with no proof of authenticity or anything. Some people are just plain stupid. I bet someone would eventually buy it if he put a more realistic price like $500 or so. Some newbie would think it is a rare find or something

What hilarious nonsense. So ebay doesn't stop this trash because of the premium they could pull down if some rich bloke took this guy up on his offer?

Other than my conscience and the potential consequence of litigation, why don't I just stick whatever I get in change back from Arby's up for grabs for $100k? If no one buys, I've lost nothing assuming listing fees are waived. And if someone buys, sure, ebay takes a giant chunk, but it's a giant chunk of invented money. So we've devalued the dollar even more here if this thing sells.

Perhaps this is a conspiracy.

Also, there is a link called, Report Item. I think ebay would look into it, if you think the product should be pulled. I doubt ebay has any way of identifying these types of bad auctions and it relies upon users to report them. I know of a few people that have reported items that were listed incorrectly and ebay did pull the auction.

This topic reminds me of that old joke about the guy who ran behind the bus every day on his way to work just so he could save 50 cents. His friend asks "Are you crazy ?, you could run behind a taxi and save $5!"

The seller has done nothing wrong. Don't worry, no collector would ever pay anything near that for a Greaser.

I made an offer of $5.05 and He made a counter offer of $15.00. I declined it.

I guess I missed out on a great deal, huh?

That is a big decline down to $15, but glad to see he is a little more realistic.
