I purchased, at auction a jar of over 300 1933 pennies. It cost me $64 and I thought I would look for some overdates. Not that I'm surprised but they had obviously been searched before as I only found one. I got two others around EF so I think my money was fairly well spent.
I would grade this as F-gF and having a look at Maccas 2011 it retails at $85 for F $175 for VF. Has a bit of crud around the lettering.
Whilst I know ebay isn't the bible for value I haven't seen any go for very much. Even after halving Maccas price which is my usual rule I still think the prices are ridiculous.
What would others grade this at? What value would you assign to it and how accurate do you think the catalogue is?
Nice clear overdate I would grade this as gF It still has 6 perls and a part centre diamond, No major rim damage and I don't think this has been cleaned. Nice coin enworb
