I have an aureus of Augustus of the same type illustrated here. Mine is in about good Fine condition, with a little scuffing. Bought it off Bob Loosely, in about 1986, who used to work for Seabys in London.
I will picture it, along with some other Greek and Roman gold that I have, when I have a decent camera to do the coins justice. The others have come via Jim Noble from Spink's also from London.

Fantastic sets, both in silver and gold . My wife would rather remodel the house than have twelve Caesars in gold. Go figure.

What remodel can possibly best twelve Caesars in gold? Besides, remodeling $$$ is money you'll likely never see again; at least gold imperials are a near-liquid asset.

It's one thing seeing the set in silver, but to see one in gold also is fantastic. I would think a gold set would be the cost of a new house with money left over.

Yeah. I know people who spent $300K remodeling their kitchen, but I don't thank that even approaches the value represented here. Some people look at collecting as an "irrational" hobby, but pouring $$$ into a home makes less sense to me--there is no recovery.
