I know I should have done that but each time I fill a hole I will update the webpage and the coin will be seen where now whats behind it is seen. It was a mistake I made and when I figured it out I was to far into the project to start all over again so I left it as is but believe me I did think about that after it was to late

no I had to sell off a few from the first page to a friend of mine when I was hurting for money and that is one that is still missing along with 2 large cents and the 1859 Indian Head cent, but I had that page full at one time

Thank You, it has come along way within a few short months I have been working on this thing. I guess I have been working on it about 3-4 months now and have gotten allot further than I thought I would get in that amount of time especially since I was looking for problem free AU+ coins which in itself can be a challenge on some of the coins involved

Bryan1315:
Fabulous collection. What camera setup or technique did you use to get such supurb picts?

My coin picts are hit or miss. Some look great, while some are kinda lackluster.

Of course my setup is not great -- a 6-megapix Kodak Easyshare, which has a 10x optical zoom.

It has a "closeup" setting on the dial, which is the closest thing to a macro, I suppose.

I can put the settings on manual, and have gotten some decent shots using natural sunlight (not direct), with the camera at least 16" away from the coin, and with aparture on f4, shutter speed 1/8, and ISO at 400.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I just use a camera I have had for a couple years now that I got off of ebay for like 30 bucks from a surplus place, it is a JVC 3.3 MP GC-QX3HD camera and all I do is set it up into macro mode in manual settings and snap the picture, sometimes I use a small tabletop tripod but most of the time I am just holding the camera in my hand. Thats basically it, nothing special
