Local Coin dealers. Local Antique mall.
Local online auctions (There is one site that has the warehouse a mile from my home so if I am looking at something I can go and look at the exact coin before bidding.)
I have got 2 hawaii silver certificates for $12, Seated Liberty half dollars for $15, and some proof/mint sets. I got 2 1996 mint sets (One W dime) for $12, 2 1987 mint sets for $10 and 1999-2007 proof set for $120.

Easily ebay ... unbeatable selection, and only takes a little common sense to find real deals. There's been a couple of bad deals, but I got my money back without hassle in each case. Local shops don't want to know you if you if aren't dropping hundreds of dollars every visit; they really cater to investors, not collectors. Shows work out to be the same kind of deal. I'd consider buying here, but don't have 50 posts.

I usually buy coins off ebay, or try to buy them off ebay. My other coins came from friends and flea markets. If you're only looking at online marketplaces, you may find *** Edited by Staff - Please Review the rules that you agreed to when you registered. *** a useful online marketplace.
