Local online auctions (There is one site that has the warehouse a mile from my home so if I am looking at something I can go and look at the exact coin before bidding.) I have got 2 hawaii silver certificates for $12, Seated Liberty half dollars for $15, and some proof/mint sets. I got 2 1996 mint sets (One W dime) for $12, 2 1987 mint sets for $10 and 1999-2007 proof set for $120. Report this Post to the Staff
hammerrob Valued Member United States 98 Posts	Posted 03/15/2012 10:40 pm Easily ebay ... unbeatable selection, and only takes a little common sense to find real deals. There's been a couple of bad deals, but I got my money back without hassle in each case. Local shops don't want to know you if you if aren't dropping hundreds of dollars every visit; they really cater to investors, not collectors. Shows work out to be the same kind of deal.
