Nice haul Ignotus.
I recently found a 1995 UN 20c - it's been years since I've found one.

Happy New Year friends. I haven't done much noodling over the last few months, but finally managed to get looking through a mixed lot of coin rolls this week. I picked up a single $2 roll of 5c coins in the hope I might see a 2015, but instead pulled out a 1972. It's in the worst condition of any coin I've kept in my collection, but it's only the third '72 I've ever seen...! I also keep finding plenty of the 2012 plain remembrance $2, and I also received a 1995 UK 10p inside a roll of $1. I've also started seeing more 2015 coins. I found a few more $1 MOR, plus a 10c and 20c. And lastly, I found three more 2001 CoF 20c coins - VIC, ACT and QLD. I don't usually see so many in just $100 worth...

Wow! Talk about beginners luck. Well done! I reckon I've noodled many tens of thousands of 20c coins and haven't found a wavy yet. I do own two, but one was from a trade, and the other I bought.

I went to my local bank and I asked for $100 in 20 cent coins but they only had $70. I'd like to get a lot more than $100 at a time. Any ideas?

Go to a bigger branch. I used to get bags of coins by the 1000, but the Bank branch I used then was a fairly big branch and supplied a lot of local businesses.
The last bag I noodled was 1000 x 5c, but that was in 2011. Still got them here, minus any I kept.

They should be able to get any number of coins you request, as long as you pre-order them. Otherwise, you just have to take whatever they can offer you at the time. Sometimes it helps not to do too many at once, because you can bore yourself to death.

OK cool - thanks. Might organise $200 in 20c per week ongoing. Can always pick up more at other places. I'm addicted to this.

Here's another little beauty that I found today: It must have been almost ten years since I last saw one of these in circulation, so this is certainly the runner-up to the previous coin.

Was that a noodling find or in pocket change? I think I've found a few by noodling. My brother got a 20001 50 cent Cent of federation WA in pocket change last week.. I bought it off of him for 50 cents
