Hello,
I have spent many a hour going through a Krause Catologue for Chinese Provincials, Japanese, Korean etc. I have not been able to ID this coin. It is 27 mm appears brassy worn and has Oriental symbols or characters on it. Any idea ?

Here is the link in question. Scroll down about a third of the page, to the "Honan mint" coin of the "K'ang Hsi" emperor, the one numbered "S-1434".

CalgaryCoin's list of Chinese cash varieties is large, but not comprehensive, so don't be surprised if at some stage you find a "cash coin" that isn't listed there.
