Hey guys, I found this coin in a pile of world coins I bought off ebay.
Upon further inspection today, I'm see in a gold color under the patina, but I'm thinking it probably is bronze. It's a Chinese coin, I tried but can't match he mintmark with those presented in the Krause Standard C of world coins, please help me, thanks in advance!

These are also hard for me to identify. Someone should be along shortly to help you.

Your coin has good relief on the characters so they should be easy for someone with the knowledge to tell you all about it. Just hold on........... someone should be around soon to help you.

OK.........gonna take a shot at this. Using my catalog I come up with:

Y#204 Cash coin from Kwangtung Province (Empire-provincial cast coinage) dated 1909-1911
made of brass

Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

No, you're doing fine.

Here's the NGC page for it.
