Earlier Libertad said, "The difference with my comic book collection is that I don't care about condition - they only have to be readable copies because that is what they are meant for".

Exactly how I felt about mine! I loved those books... Then I had to move, and had no place for "things". And gave them all away... Sigh.

I still have a few comics. I'd like to finish my set of Kamandi. I'd like even more to eventually attain a full set in great condition. I'd like Madman as well, though.
Rest in Peace

Besides coins, I have a few other things I collect.

Antique Furniture, 19th century bottles, Tiki Mugs, and old books. All of these pale in comparison to my coin collection.

I collect signed CDs and theatre Playbills, as I mentioned before, but there's something I didn't put on that list: Japanese manga. Right now I'm working on three series: 美å°'女戦士セラムウン (Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon), コãƒ.ナム羽セイラV (Codename: Sailor V), and 湯儀王 ãƒ.エルモンスタア (Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Monsters). The amount of Sailor Moon merch I've boughten straight from Japan is a little ridiculous, and while my Yu-Gi-Oh collection isn't quite as insane (I gave away most of my cards when I moved), it's, um, up there.

I used to collect Comics (1960's onwards). Probably have between 1,500 and 2,000 comics.
I also collected baseball cards for a number of years but that's gone by the wayside as well now.

I collect old maps, 16th to 18th century. Although I haven't bought anything lately, since I'm more into building my coin collection right now, haha

I have all my old concert ticket stubs, since I worked in the business, also backstage passes, I have several albums full. A few signed, but I never asked for autographs, found that to not be good practice when working with an artist, and I worked a few really big ones over the years (Pink Floyd, Robert Plant, KISS, NIN, Jewel, etc). The memories are enough!

But some of my early ticket stubs are my favorites, the Police (before Roxanne came out), was one of my favorite shows I saw, only about 200 people in attendance that night. A few years later, selling out colosseums!

I collect coins (of course), banknotes, books and Lego.
I have a large rock collection, although I have only added a few new specimins in 7 years.
I used to collect Nintendo Handhelds but when I aquired one of each I stopped, as around that time I stopped gaming using nintendo handhelds.

I'm looking at aquiring some WWII medals later this year, just after I finish organizing my multiple bags of random world coins...

I recently tried to revive my interest in sports cards, but after opening a few boxes of cards,I remember why I quit in the first place...The boxes are too expensive and you never get your moneys worth!!

Other than coins, I also collect old U.S. banknotes and world banknotes, especially ww2 era. I have a rock collection that I have had since I was younger, and I usually hold onto anything old that I find interesting.
