I would collect watches if I could afford it, I only have one decent one (Audermars Piguet) but if money was no object I would have many.
I used to collect phonecards, these have dissapeared butt quickly as they came but I have an album full of different designs and because they are made of plastic they will keep well. I still look at the occassionally but I dont actively collect them anymore.
For me its about coins and banknotes, and possibly banknotes more than coins.

Raymo my middle fingernail is about to come off any day now. I'll send it to ya for your collection. I've heard the bigger the nail piece the better.

I used to collect antique/vintage milk creamers to use as planters. It's a hobby I'd like to get into again, if anyone out here had REAL garage sales instead of this "two racks of clothes and a table of broken bookends" crap. Clearly I need to start hitting the flea markets.
Today I have only one of my old creamers . . . a 1950s-ish yellow one. Pretty, classic. I adore it.

Dooly, are there any restrictions in the UK regarding keeping your shot guns at home? I've heard that they make you keep them at a gun club, is that true?

Just about anything that has to do with buffaloes.
The first herd I experienced was in Pioneer Park in Lincoln, Nebraska. After seeing them, and feeling the earth shake when they ran, I was hooked. I can understand why Indians had such respect for these animals.
