with "first strike" designation for coins run over by traffic.

be interesting to know how many they get back compared to what they lost. and the quickest way to pick them up would be a vacumm

Yes! Another fine idea.

The city would have vacuum trucks that could be dispatched though without the proper attachment they'd probably take a while since the area was so large.

Anything's better than bending over and picking them up one at a time like one of the workers in the video. But maybe he was a coin collector and just picking up the wheaties. ;)

I haven't seen coins in a road, but I have seen them in a footpath. Some crazy Araldited them there!

Didn't last too long. About a week later, another Crazy blasted them out with a cold chisel, and damaged the pavement!

New Crazies seem to be born every day, to replace those that remove themselves permanently from the human gene pool, by their own actions.

I don't understand.

Update: Someone asked how many were dropped. Watching the news they said $1000 (40 boxes)was the total. They also had clips of buys lined up on they highway with push brooms...lol. There would have to be a half dozen more efficient ways to clean up. At least it gave our city employees something to do this afternoon.

Close the roads, find the nearest skule, let the kids keep whatever they pick up.

Hey mom, you won't believe what we did at recess today!

Then again, that's prolly the cleanest that stretch of highway has been in awhile.

There was a seafood truck wrecked not far from us the other day. I can't decide if I'd rather go scavenge shrimp off the road or money.

This happened last year, I guess the driver didn't know how to lock the door again. Really, you can't tell me a "shifting box" in the back is enough to open the door of a freakin amored car!

TIP: Clean up crew, it's called a Billy Goat Vac, get one!

Just like the last spill, I was ROFL when I watch the broom guys trying to push those cents around. Really, it would have been easier and more efficient to get on your hands and knees. LOLOLOLOL
