So far, the mint has released the 5 coin ATB Quarter clad proof set and silver proof set. The uncirculated quarter set is on the product schedule, as are the proof and uncirculated Presidential dollar sets.

When will we be seeing the complete 2012 uncirculated, clad proof and silver proof sets? Last year the clad proof set was out on 1/11, silver on 1/25 and uncirculated on 2/8. The number of coins and formats of the sets are the same this year, and they're not even on the schedule yet, so what gives?

I have been wondering the same thing. I keep checking the planned scheduled releases and it is not up yet. Wonder what the difference is this year?

Unless they just want to torture us for awhile.

They will come when they come. They don't release the sets at the same time every year. Sometimes they come early in the year and sometimes they come late.

None of the products that contain dollar coins have been released. I speculate that the mint isn't sure what is going to happen with them and is giving congress some time to think about it.

The Mint is in a bit of a sticky wicket right now between testing out new metals for coinage and ridiculous politics.

Perhaps they're waiting to unveil something big?

Possibly the government is planning on a big cut back in spending and they are going to lay off all Mint workers. Then outsource our coinage to China like everything else and they will all be sold at Walmart, like everything else.

True. It always comes, so I stopped worrying about it many years ago. The notification e-mail always comes when I least expect it.

If I waited for an e-mail for the 25th anniversary ASE set I would have never gotten it. This sight keeps me well informed as to current releases, thanks guys.

The original topic is regarding the annual sets that happen every year, not the special things.

But you are right, I learned about the 25th anniversary set on CCF long before the mint let me know about it.
