Good call, augold! I'll be hanging out here a lot. My main collection is on British royalty; up till a year ago I did coins exclusively, but with fewer and fewer holes I needed to expand the pool, so here I am. I start with Victoria as well, her golden jubilee medal from Croydon, a borough of Greater London.  It has some dings on the rim because it is big and somewhat heavy, and most likely had a couple of falls. This pic will give you an idea of the size of the medal,  |

at this point, I only have 1 or 2 more to offer. 1 is George V Coronation Medal 1911. It is in a huge NGC slab- about 6 x 8 inches. I could eat a large dinner on it. Medal is graded MS-65BN and is 51mm AE.
i will get around to doing pics soon and will share.
i would love to see more of your collection. Victoria is great. She reigned about 40 years and all her images are classy.

I only moved house this week, so a lot of my files are hard to find right now. There's at least another 100 pictures to come, probably a whole lot more.

New addition, arrived an hour ago. Queen Victoria Golden Jubilee 1887 with a photo of Her Maj.  Pity about the cracked glass. |
