Tim..you gotta gimme a break..the first two I found in 83...but I did find the 1983P-1DR-002 a couple weeks ago.The 72 #4 will be auctioned off on Teletrade and starts the 11th of this month.
DVCollector, they aren't really that scarce,but highly sought after and easy to identify so they were plucked out of circulation pretty quickly.

I have to admit the deck was stacked in my favor.This one came from a peanut can full of 83's. The guy read a newspaper articles about the DDR's being in the area and just saved all the 83's he got in change.30 years later he hears me talking about doubled dies and hands them over.

Well, yes, but I did find a buyer for a gun he had...and turned down a commission...and he does want the rejects back
