Norfolk have been the scarce 20c,for whatever reason, since day one.I sold a lot of mine off over the years as the ebay prices was just too good to pass up.

Wow enworb. The SA 50c in one of the hardest to find (along with the ACT) for me. The have found about 35 SA 50c compared to 65 NI recently (The most is 115 NSW just for a comparison)

This is interesting. It seems to suggest that, once released, coins stay within an area rather than moving between areas. I guess that makes sense, after all, coins are heavy things to move. I cannot see large volumes of coins moving back and forth between east and west coast of Australia.

enworb, I hear ya... The NI 50c was the last 2001 one that I found in circulation... I had been looking for years and years... was in woolies and hadn't really me seriously noodling for a while (this was bout 2 yrs ago) and out of the blue I asked for my change all in 50c coins... and that's how I finally found my circulation NI 2001 50c. The strange thing is that since then they seem to turn up all the time!

Having finally found an Incused today, I've calculated it was the 126th Millenium 50c (I had 3 more normals in the lot today after I found the incused) Overall, since I've been keeping score, I've looked through approx. 9100 ($4550 worth) 50 cent coins, of which 129 have been Millens, and one is an Incused. In the pic there are a couple missing - are in my collection - this layout was my motivation to keep looking...
