Bizybackson Pillar of the Community United States 1817 Posts	Posted 03/26/2012 03:12 am Bought it at the Phildelphia Mint gift shop in the summer of '96. It was just after the Atlanta Olympics opening ceremony, as there was a television in the gift shop showing Ali over and over again running up the steps and lighting the torch. It was the only mint set I bought from the Mint before collecting Mint sets in earnest a few years ago. The set cost $7.50 or $8.00 then for 11 coins as opposed to $31.95 today for 28. The Mint sets could use a boost from time to time like a '96-W dime to jazz up interest and increase sales. Report this Post to the Staff
