Hello Friends, I found a 1969s Penny in MS-60 Red/Brown Grade.The Specs as I see via ordinary 2 to 3X Magnifier.

1.Razor-Sharp Clear Double Ear Showing!.Not like the 1984 DDO,but a BIG Seperation showing TWO (Entire Earlobes).

2.Doubling on the Eyelids/Slight Glints.

3.A BIG Circular Apparture !on the Chin.Easily visible even to the naked Eye.Not PMD,something formed a Circle, like when two chins collided and could not coincide with each other,a Guess. Its a Good Millimeter Wide.See the Simily face ,its about Half the size Circle on the Chin/Glittering/Circle on Linclons Image.

4.Doubling on the DATE slight curls on Top.Not on MOTTO's,clearly as the DATE.The Back is clear.A bit thicker then a normal 1969s

5.Some Doubling showing on the Hair Bands/Thicker.

Since this Penny is very very collectable DATE for Lincoln Pennys.Has Anyone got one like this or similar? As you know on the NET I can't find hardly anything expect a pic on LincolnResourceCenter or Ken Potters site about the REAL BIG DDO with MOTTO Doubling.Did I find something valuable, from what I have described? Ofcourse, there are many for sale as a HighGrade normal Pennys, too.

I guess its not just the doubling that makes a Penny Valuable its the KEY DATE,GRADE,Type of Varietys (How Many,Rare,Types Discoverd),and Who wants it? Appreciate any links or folks that already have pictures of similar varaietys of 1969s.Oh..yes I even checked Coppercoins forthis..and..nothing show up.Help...God Bless.

PS:Sorry, can't upload a proper pic yet.A cheap Scanner pic would ruin the flavor for this sweet Treasure. So,I described it,best I can.God Bless America!

Most people will not speculate what something is or isn't without a picture.

+1 for the pic, just to let you know, a 69-S DDO find will net you a ton of money. And we're talking "down payment on a house" type of life changing money. And the DDO is unmistakable, almost 55 like.

Friends,Thanks for all your Replys to my Topic. If I had a Good way to take pictures I would upload them.Even, asked friends around me everyone has a CELL PHONE Camera and its just not Good enough,to do the job right. As,far as Mailing this coin,I don't think I'll sleep,It took me over 1 Year of hunting to find one that Might be worth a Premium! If I don't find a digital camera,I just take pic from the Scanner to save face,..on that you'll still be able to see the Round Apparture on the CHIN,cause its so Big.Thanks Again, for the LINKS etc..I am checking them out.In my search for over 150,000 pennys in little over a Year.I have found atleast 10 1969s ,about half are showing some Type of Doubling, the rest just normal Pennys. This one TOPS the entire list.God Bless!

Something to consider is it may be Machine Doubling. The 1968-1971 cents were filled with them. If it is the BIG DO it should look like this:

And not like this:

I can almost completely guarantee that if you have found doubling on a 1969S that is not the major known doubled die (which has nothing to do with the ear), then you have worthless Machine Doubling. It is extremely common and is often mistaken for something valuable.
