I've been sort of neglecting my Confederate currency type set lately, but today I received these two uniface notes I acquired from Pierre Fricke. The twenty has a couple ink blobs which bled through to the reverse (not noted on the holder), but overall I feel these are very nice notes for the grade with nice even margins on both.

I've always wanted to own a large-size note.

A little used and abused but it fits right in with my WW2 era currency.

Nice pickup!

I'm old enough to admit that these were found often in circulation when I was a kid.

I find the WWII emergency notes very interesting from a historical perspective; when I first started actually collecting small size U.S. currency a few years ago, examples of the Hawaii and North Africa notes were some of the first I purchased.

Courtesy signed by Catalina Vasquez Villalpando at the F.U.N. show in Orlando back in 1992. She is the 39th Treasurer of the United States from December 11th 1989, to January 20th 1993, under President Bush. Mrs. Villalpando has the distinct honor of being the ONLY U.S. Treasurer to be sent to prison for tax evasion and obstruction of justice in 1994.

1995 1$ note courtesy signed by Treasurer of the United States M. E. Withrow and Secretary of the Treasury Robert Rubin who both served under Bill Clinton. I think Mary Ellen would have signed a watermelon if you put it in front of her..
