Today we hit two schools. The first yielded just over $1 in clad. The second had obviously not been hit in some time. Since getting my AT pro I have been a little concerned that my gold finds have dropped off and I was beginning to think it was time to switch back to my ace250.
Today the AT pro shined like nothing else.
after digging up some clad I got my first hit. A weak signal at 42. Ten inches down was an nice gold hoop earring. I got really excited until I noticed no markings. Oh Well I get it tested anyway.
Some more Clad, then a sold 44 at 12 inches. out pops a solid 3 colour gold bracelet. This time inspection reveals 14K stamped on the Bracelet and the clasp (6.1g). My Day just became great.
A little more clad then a solid 68. this normally means some junk trinket but out comes a small Figaro Bracelet.
Its also stamped 14K bringing my total gold for the day to 13.9g with a possible addition of another 4.2 grams if the earring turns out to be real. The poor wife though she was doing so well with a couple of bucks in clad..

Yep Public schools are fair game if outside school hours and no children are present..
Some are even part of the Spark system and double as neighborhood parks
