Hey guys/girls! I'm new to this site. I've been collecting coins/silver pieces and bills for a while now. Can anybody tell me the worth of a MS65 2006 Canadian penny - mag - "P". I've had it sitting her for a while now... and whats the different varieties for the 1965 Canadian Silver quarter and how to distinguish the difference between the two. Thank you!

to the forum.

The are no different varieties to the 1965 25 cents, just the dollar.

If I remember well, I don't believe there is a magnetic P type, there is

-P;

-magnetic;

-Logo Magnetic;

-RCM Logo;

-Non magnetic;

-RCM Logo

-P Non magnetic types

Hey,
Welcome to the site. The penny you mentioned is worth about $4-5.. if it were Non-magnetic it would be closer to $1500-2000 :). Not sure about the Silver dollar as I'm current only into pennies.

As qbvbsite said the coinage with a P are meant to be magnetic and if found to be non magnetic it is rare. (Like the 2006P non magnetic)

Thank you qbvbsite.

Though I don't pay much attention to these penny variations, I should prolly look 'em up and do some searching.

You must have Great Britain half pennies. Canada only has cents except for the bank tokens from the 1800's.
