WoW! Congrats on this. Very nice coins. You have to love the design on that gold. Even though I am in the States some of the Canadian coins are my favorites. I have always liked the regal looking reverse like that gold piece has.

check the $10 with the map.
if the date on the obv says 1974, it is worth a few hundred alone, if it says 1973 it is worth just bullion.

I like the provincial flower medallions. Nice high relief designs. I seem to recall that they are silver - check the edge for a hallmark such as ".925".

Finally made it to the 1 Cent. Started this morning and just found an 1894 Thick 4 in VF20! WOO HOO!

I have finally made it through to the dollars.

1955 Arnprior, with the Die Break.

Question. On the Obv is what appears to be some type of grease. It does not come off or smear. (touched ever so delicately with cotton glove).

What does this do to the grade?

Any input is appreciated.

soak in acetone. If it's grease, that'll cure it.
