Nice colours but a shame about the fingerprints.

Beutiful coin and a great example of this date.
I will have to go with UNC despite a couple of minor marks and fingerprints on the coin. ( Scans do tend to show warts and all).
aUNC-UNC and CV about 500 quid

I cant see it grading that high. There is some rim damage on the left side of the reverse, what looks like some wear in the hairline and also the unatractive fingerprints on the reverse. The discolouring on the obverse is much more splotchy than the reverse.

Personally the fingerprints remove most of the value to me. I hate fingerprints. I think these even with the nice blue colours would still detract from the value. I would prefer a nice brown example rather than a nicely coloured but fingerprinted coin.

in 1841, British pennies were still copper, not bronze.
Unblemished coins from that era are very scarce, because of the higher reactivity of copper.

Unless you plan on selling it the only thing that matters is you like it.

i was thinking to sell it but I'm not sure what the value is. I like roman coins and if I can get something from this coin I would buy some roman coins.
how much can I aspect from this coin if listed on ebay, what do you think?
