These pictures show better than the first two posted where it looks like the coin is worn. Is that rim damage at 3 o'clock on the 2nd picture?
I did not see this previously, but yes, there is rim damage, although less than the AU ++ shown in the listing DBM linked:

Upon closer inspection, I noticed a few minor scratches on my coin, but a strong light is needed to see them.

Look at the details of this one on ebay. You can see in comparison how much has been lost on your coin due to wear.

If I'm being honest, I don't see much difference between the one you linked and mine, apart from the one you linked being lighter in colour, and with a less faded GB flag. I think my picture does not display my coin accurately, probably due to the plastic film. I will have to take it to a coin dealer to get an idea of the grade as I'm not really a coin collector.

Here's one I picked up at the show last year for around $30:

Was this one polished?

Not polished. Just a nice patina. I was offered $75 for it just yesterday. It's one of the nicer ones I've come across and it's one of my favorites in my collection.
Rest in Peace

Half the battle is knowing where to look. I used your first pix, brightened a bit:

Compare detail on the crown, swirls and beads on the corny-cope-ya, handle of the swored.

Compare top of helmet, cape, head of horse, rider's leg and swored, horse tail.
