I can't believe the guesses on this coin. You guys do know this is a better date, right? If Macmercury got this for anywhere near the prices that you have guessed, I want to know where he got it and I will buy 10 of them right now. This is a really nice coin.

I was gonna say the same as perfessor, but was hoping people would keep giving these ridiculous low-balls. Most of these pre-depression, branch-mint dimes are practically unavailable in XF-AU.

Hey guys........... no making fun of our bids now!! It's not like we know what we are doing. How do you know Macmercury did not roll find this? OR got this from a friend? OR got this in a batch of coins from a seller who does not know one merc from another? We will soon find out who has the ESP around here.  Just think about it.............if we continue to put in those "low ball" guesses it only improves your chances of winning, right? (wink) |

I was thinking it may have been a great purchase. And 13 coincidentally is my lucky number. I haven't studied merc's so I also wasn't sure how to price it.

Since usually coins submitted to GTP are "I got this for a steal" many of us side on the, 'someone goofed in pricing this'.
Remember, this is guess what they paid, not guess whats it's worth.

I lowballed my $40 guess. You never know where he bought it.A lot of people post coins they got a great deal on, I'm thinking he hauled this one in on a great deal.

Hey, I am not trying to stir up animosity here. GTP is a fun game. Merely trying to educate. Mercs are something I know a little more about. I hope you all are right then Mac can tell me where he got this great deal. I want some too.
