Quote: I hope I can muster enough memory power to check back next April, even if I and the rest of us are even still around to even care, lol. Going by history and all the doomsday crews past "end of the world predictions" accuracy (ZERO), good chance we will indeed be around.... Right, Hawk. I should have made the poll run through Dec. 20th, 2012, so we could pat the winning guessers on their backs for their deductive reasoning skills before the end of the world

I gave it a lot of thought and I'm predicting silver will drop to under $22 before April 2013. I forgot to put my prediction in earlier and for some reason the poll wouldn't let me vote.

$38.67 on Monday, April 1st, 2013! What do I get for winning?

Anyone who didn't get a chance to vote or comment, I dredged this up from a couple of months ago.
Any changes of opinion?

I voted for sub 20,honestly I think metals are kind of in a bubble right now from commodities brokerage speculation.

I chose $45.00 because of silver's use as an important industrial metal in electronics. If the economy improves by next year, more people are likely to purchase smart phones, laptops, and other electronics, thus increasing the use of silver. I believe a lot of people have held off on these kind of purchases due to the uncertainty of the economy.

I will pass on voting in the poll. I am not in the biz of guessing or predicting prices. I am only a trend follower, nor do I care for the reasons why PMs go higher or why they go lower.
The trend is really the ONLY thing that I care about.

The early stargazers and thumb twiddlers on this thread got it wrong. That includes me. Current silver price less than $27 at 5 april 2013.

I cheated. I just voted $25 and didn't realize this thread was a year old until after my vote.

Late prediction, but I guess that silver will re-test the old highs of $48/49 in mid-April, then fail, falling to $42 by the end of April, followed by a break-through into May reaching $56; then a major smack-down to $40/41 before the end of May. Silver has been flat for too long. It's in a bear trap and is getting ready for a major bull run, which will pick up momentum this fall. Fairly steady in the $30's throughout the summer months. Economics hardly play a role in the silver market, because if it did, silver would be $45+ by now. It's being manipulated, which gives the impression that all is well. QE will never cease, money printing must continue; silver is bottoming and soon it will be time for the bulls to take charge and ride this market out! Just a wild guess!
