I spent 5 at the club last night, and 3 more today at Wendy's (and another half dollar).
This makes $98,763 to go.

If I calculated correctly, we would hit 100,000 on 2/8/2022. I think this is an improvement (if you want to call it that). It's still over 10 years away. We've got to get the word out.

Correction. I meant 2/8/2023. I forgot to increment the year in my final calculation.

left four as a tip. $98,759. All four were Chester Arthur's in MS-63 or MS-64. DERN MINT! Wonder if the waitress realized she had a couple of non-rare collectible coins?

A question for all participants to consider: I am obviously not the only employee at my store, and we get these in on a semi-regular basis (hence why you see me post in this thread so often). If I can confirm that my coworkers have sent out coins (e.g. I leave with eight coins in the register, I come back the next day and there are two; we don't put coin in our bank deposits, ergo those coins were handed out), should I include those coins in our total, or should I not because I didn't personally hand them out?

I would think it count as long as you tell your co-worker about our little project and when you post on her you can say: "XYX sent out $x".
I gave my mom a roll of $25 for her trip to Oklahoma. I am expecting her to spend it on the trip.

Exchanged $40 yesterday, got 5 SBA's and the rest were a mixture a Sacs and Presidentials dollars. All were spent at a local swapmeet on various items. It's funny to see how many people have to look over them several times before they say "Cool, I've never seen these before", then say Thank you. But most look at them as if your trying to give them fake money or old Mexican coins. $98,640

Sent out four more today--one I used to buy a doughnut, two I used to buy coin from my drawer (bunch of apparently uncirculated and gorgeously toned dimes from the 1970s COME TO MAMA), one I found in my drawer.
$98 627!!

I spent 2 dollar coins and 2 half dollars at the grocery store. The clerk said she never saw half dollars before. I told her that is why I am spending them. I'll bet she will keep them. I tried to buy 2 rolls at the bank today. All they had was loose ones. I was disappointed. I will try another bank tomorrow.
$98,619 to go
