Doubled Dies should have the same thickness as the rest of the date. Your doubling is very shallow and flat (from what I can see) As far as the link you posted...I agree..your coin looks like the one in the Second picture of the 1970S...which is a pic of a coin with common MD. I don't know alot about proofs..but is this one? Report this Post to the Staff

I have a lot of older s coins that look like this, but quite a few d's as well. I just can't be certain that it's MD because the MM isn't doubled. Report this Post to the Staff
