Silver may drop in the very near future but over the next decade isee a major rise due to it being such a vital industrial metal

The drop in the near future will last about a day or two if that even happens. Downward manipulation is being tried daily and it ain't workin'

One thing is certain: The only way out of the financial mess we're in? Create a bigger financial mess! Full speed ahead on adding trillions of USD to the money supply for as far as the eye can see. Continue manipulating the markets (all of them) until the USD collapses and takes the "paper" markets with it. This might take a few years and might even take a few decades but the result will be the same.

BH- I am only 21, so a few decades is fine with me! Once I have kids and it is about their time for college, I am praying is about the same time as the collapse haha. Either way for the next 20-30 years I will only be continuing my collection.

Quote: Downward manipulation is being tried daily and it ain't workin' Yeah, and the fun part of that is that it is taking more and more paper to create a smaller and smaller downward move in silver prices. The last few times they have tried this, silver prices dipped and then came right back up. Other than selling some silver at very temporarily depressed prices, this is looking pretty pointless. Perhaps TPTB will soon give up on their manipulations as a lost cause. They might as well. If they do not, then some really BIG money from Asia is likely to swoop in, buy low, and then stand for delivery of all that cheap silver the manipulators do not have. Good on 'em, too. Heh heh Quote: all of this nice weather. LOL! Nice weather? It rained like mad here today and there were bits of ice mixed in with the torrential downpour. The temp was in the low 40s. A little more "nice weather" like this and I may have to head for AZ for a few months!

Silver is very conveniently priced just now, ar around one dollar per gram. Makes approximate calculations easy.

Silver is the greatest white-coloured coinage metal in human history, and is worshipped like a god on these forums for good reason, it is.

A little more "nice weather" like this and I may have to head for AZ for a few months! Try living there for a few years, Ed. You might wish you were back in the PNW before long. Where I resided, we were told to ration water by the city on several occasions, if you can imagine such a thing living where we do. The long-term, environmental forecast for the entire SW isn't good, IMO. Water will be the new oil of the future, it seems. And all the big players are positioning themselves to take advantage of the coming shortages, real or perceived. Loved the people of AZ, the privacy, and the liberal gun laws. It was the only placed I ever lived where I could go outside of town a few miles, set up a target next to the side of a hill and blast away to my heart's content with my old HK91 and a whole slew of other guns without a single complaint from anyone or anything. Except for the free-range cows that would come up on me from time to time while I was reloading. But it was simply too dry for my liking. I don't know why but I had this inchoate, irrational, uneasy feeling about being landlocked that built in me the longer I lived there. Maybe the problem was I was born on the coast and I'll probably die on in it. It's really true that the sea calls to her own.

Silver's taking a bit of a beating this morning, dropping to nearly 30.40. It's still early, though. But it seems like no matter how hard TPTB try, the market is holding strong above $30. Could be the floor?

Yeah, it looked like it was heading below $30 this morning but then pulled back up.
I'm still waiting for my last big purchase to arrive (today or tomorrow), but I might have to buy a little more if it does actually dip below $30.

Lately when it threatens to dip below, it recovers back to $31.50 by lunch time, esp around mid week....
We will see if that sideways continues or drops below thirty. When it has fell below thirty, it has been for a very short time....

Silverhawk I completely agree, but it seems that it may have finally broken that loop and may finally fall under. The manipulation on silver prices just continues to amaze me. More and more news becomes available to the public about silver and its consumption but yet the price falls. Mindboggling, but what can you do about politics haha.

I am with you Wildspinx for sure on that, as last look silver is in full free fall, as is all PM's an that 30 barrier is not gonna hold, look out below.... You all can thank me with all those old pours listed, lol. What else can I expect as I look up at the sky, rof .... You all wanted a window to buy, here it comes. Bet by the time I collect all money on the new flip (which will be rough via the drop), it will be back to 33 bucks per oz. come buy back in time, lol.... I may say the heck with it an go gold an platinum while it is cheap, an they both may peak out still yet by summers end....

Silver briefly fell below $30 again today, only to scratch its way to a close of $30.06. Should be interesting to see where it heads in the coming weeks.
