$27.85, Hawk! Barry... looks like it's back on the couch for you, my friend. Might want to hold off on the silver purchases and invest in a good sleep sofa, instead. But they'll probably have a big sale on those, too, the day after you pick it up.

I just picked up a few more items for my Type Album for little more than melt! I hope this trend holds for a while!

Sorry about that, Hawk...
Silver is now at $27.60. If it drops much further, I might have to buy another 100-ounce bar just to spite the universe.

That's how you do it barry, keep buying and playing the averages. This paper game they're playing can't last for ever.

Ah, screw it. Silver just hit $27 and I bought another 100 ounce bar (went with a Johnson Matthey instead of an Engelhard this time).
So let's all sit back and watch silver drop another dollar or two now...

No worries Barry, we were just razzing you for fun my friend! You are not to blame for the silver fall, even though that is some crazy coincidences....
There are literally millions of factors that effect that price, and I don't believe any one human is smart enough to see the whole picture and understand how everything moves up or down and what causes it. In fact, only super computers of today could keep up with such information perhaps....
I recall BF once saying you could dump like 50 million oz. of silver into the system, and it would not effect the price but like 50 cents either way, and that is probably not too far from the truth....
I think a good thing to give all silver hoarders piece of mind for the long term is too simply look at how much silver was mined say 25, 50, 75 and 100 years ago, and compare that to how much came out of the ground last year....

I'm really loving this! I picked up a few more items for my Type Set collection at little more than melt! Have my eye on several more. You guys have me convinced that there is a lot of support for $28 so I like these dips to $27 that make buying all the easier. That has the junk buyers dropping out sooner so I get the item for less!

Bingo. Just scored ANOTHER one! 1899 Barber quarter for $6.25 including shipping. Melt was $5.20 when silver was $28.73. Those prices are down about 5% today, but they are reasonable numbers to work with for small purchases.

If it hits $26, I'm buying another 2-3 10 ounce engelhard bars.
