Very impressive set you have there. Can't wait till I get my thick and thin silver Norse American. Didn't know they had a gold Norse American. I will say it again Very Impressive! Thanks so much for sharing with us.

Picked these up on ebay along with both the thin/thick medals.
Not normally into stamps, but thought they'd go well next to the medals themselves as both were minted/printed the same year.
These are also mentioned in the OP's program (bottom of original post). I have been after these medals for over 2 years now. Whew

Is it just me or have ebay asking prices tripled in the last 2 months for them?

And my local coin dealer found this ultra-rare
copper piece, sold it for $21,000 he told me.

Yes, Jack - I've noticed that anomoly as well.
I believe I did okay on my recent purchases.

Thank you for the History on this Medal it was very educational. I have the same medal and I had no idea some of the information and the history on that medal. Is this a high valued medal? I don't see a lot of them being sold at the right price. I would assume that this medal should be priced higher than the market dictates. That's my opinion..

Once I get around to it, I'll show you my near UNC 1925 Norse-American THIN I picked up at my LCS several months back for $10.


Don't even ask....it was in the "junk silver" bin..
