Always, might have a die crack but I always check everything. Have a few thousand of them rolled by year and mint mark.

Smallest here is 5c but yes always pick them up. Haven't had any for months now.
I like the idea of putting them in a separate jar. Up to now they just get spent.

I've never seen a penny (cent) that I didn't pick up. Speaking of picking up coins, have you heard the story, evidentally true, about Yogi Berra? One of Yogi's teammates saw him tossing several coins in the toilet, and then fishing them out. When Yogi was asked what he was doing, he replied, "I dropped a dime in there, but I wasn't going to stick my hand in the toilet for a dime so I tossed in a few extra coins to make it worthwhile!" Really!!

We have 5 Kr as smallest denomination here. (1 Kr is not used, as an unofficial decision) I pick up any change if they're dry.
Nice story Gary :LOL

Is a penny actually worth picking up? Lets assume you were trying to make a living picking up pennies. And pennies were plentiful laying on the ground for the taking. If you bend over to pick them up one at a time you could pick up 10 each minute. Some would go slower, some faster. That would be $6 an hour. To me, I don't think it's worth it. Can you imagine the backache? However, I do pick them up if they're obviously not yukky.

I voted never. However, I used to always pick up any coin I'd see on the ground even if in mud. Due to a severe bout of Cancer, numerous operations, many chemo treatments it is just to difficult to bend over for any coin. Sure wish I could. I've seen even quarters on the ground that I would just point at and tell someone it's there. I would rather be healthy and pick up a cent than be in my condition.

I almost always pick up any change, I find on the ground. The only time I don't pick any change is if there are people around.

Just think of all the people spending $50 a week to go to the gym for just this kind of exercise and having nothing to look at in their pocket when they get home. I always pick up coins on the ground, guess it is because it still pays more than farming!!
