I know the product you're talking about, it's sold on ebay. It is a harsh cleaner that I suspect to be an emulsion of d-limonene (citrus terpenes) although I have not confirmed this. It doesn't really matter what it is other than a harsh cleaning agent and it will ruin your coins. I'd also be concerned because I see no supporting documentation with the product such as an MSDS. Just because something is "natural" and "biodegradable" does NOT mean it is safe. For example, citric acid is "natural" and "biodegradable" yet it is one of the most potent and corrosive acids out there.

The funny part, the seller has mimicked my ebay listings. Don't be confused, this is NOTHING like VC! VERDI-CAREâ„¢ is a fully tested and well-documented coin conservation fluid. The guy selling safe clean better get his act together from a health and safety standpoint or he could face serious legal troubles if someone were to get injured using his product.
