jdbooth Valued Member United States 236 Posts	Posted 05/31/2012 8:10 pm I believe some AU's also get color grades. PCGS uses a simple color grade thumb rule. All you have to remember is 95% and or 5%. if a coin is 95% or more red (both sides must meet this %) it is considered RD (Red.) If a coin is between 5% and 95% red (again both sides) it is considered a RB (Red Brown.) And if it is less than 5% red on both sides it is a BN (Brown.) Hope that helps.
