Wow  That's a keeper! Wish we could see its true red beauty, but your picture has a lot of yellow in it. Filling holes...don't you just love it? |

Great looking coin scotty.  Your second picture is somewhat better it would be great if you take it out of the 2x2, you may get a clearer photo. AU-58 |

Is hard to believe that a coin with that much original luster and color wouldn't be MS
but the high spots on the hair and ear appear to be flattened. I was waiting to hear from thad on this one.

I knew that coin would look great without that Yellow.
I would grade it at XF45+, maybe AU 50, but that doesn't mean its not a beauty especially for its age.
BTW. That 7070 section looks very nice. I might buy a Dansco 7070 and start filling holes.

There is the occasional upside to owning one though... For instance...when you show it to your 14 year-old nephew...and he notices the 1800 1/2 cent in the first hole of the album...and exclaims..."WHOA!...THAT'S 200 YEARS OLD!" You can't put a price on moments like that imho...  |
