check out this doooooozy

The seller says "Will be PACKAGED CAREFULLY TO
REACH YOU IN VERY GOOD CONDITION "
I'm not sure how this might happen unless there is a miracle.

Must put a watch on this. If it sells for a high price I might be tempted to fire up the Oxy-acet set!

The seller's ebay ID gives some clues, I think, as to how this concoction may have come about....!! A feedback score of 66% doesn't inspire confidence....

Absolute-Rubbish-!

Found this tattered 50c in a Chubb roll today- wonder what it's worth on ebay?

It should easily bring $100. I would start the listing at $50 for sure.

Congratulations on your find - looks remarkably like a distressed pneumatic compression variety. It's hard to put a value on these as they don't come up too often

Ha Ha, yes, $50 may get a nibble or two...!
Only problem is, I may get a genuine collector who'll neg. me after doing the deal

Actually, it was in such a terrible state I needed to do a scan of it just to find out what date it is, so as to put into the coin survey - went with 2006.....

It's still there deano:

120930329072

I put the item number in the ebay search box, and it has a bidder already

Still has 7 days to go, so we've all got plenty of time to start saving....

So do ya reckon the hole is where the oxy torch was placed to get the heat into the inside of the coin to make it blow up & melt on to the other coin as well ? sounds good to me anyway LOL.
