Good on you. There's still hope out there for others to be found.

Because they are so darn hard to find when you finally get one you just cant believe it. Quote: The Wavy definately takes "pride of place" in my collection" its by far my favourite coin in my collection.

I agree,it,s a real buzz when you eventually find one. I found a "wavy' about 12 months ago, couldn,t believe my eyes at the time.

Obviously depends on grade but I would have said $150-250 would be average for an average example.

Well done! May it be it first of a few - we don't want it to be lonely.

Thanks everyone. I am very happy with my unexpected find. It is a little surprising that there are still some out there after all this time.

Here are some better photos. I think the condition is a little higher than average for a coin this old. There is still plenty of reeding left (as you can see in the photos) and there are no major flaws.

Hi ozcoins Could you please check up if your "wavy" has the fine features of my "wavy" on the reverse ?. I have attached a picture below. The features are: The "rounded relief" to the wavy curvature of the baseline of the 2. I have outlined this in the red rectangle. The downward-and-to-the-right pointing "tail" at the right hand side of the rounded swirl, as indicated in the blue rectangle. Thanks Squire

I dont think theres any chance of it being PMD if thats what youre getting at squire? The 'wave' is replicated in the ripple above the 2 as it should be on both your coin and ozcoins coin.
