Hi all,

Here I've got an Australian 1961Y. circulated penny with what I think is an error but I'm not 100% sure. The error in question are the series of lines on the coins face which run like a star pattern from the roo to the coins collar. Is this an error and if so, does it have a name?

Cheers

They are metal flow lines and pretty typical of Perth struck copper of this period.

Kel, When you do this, you'll get "{quote}" "{/quote}", but it'll be in square brackets, and you need to copy the words you want to quote and paste them between the bracketed words.
