Hi all, Here I've got an Australian 1961Y. circulated penny with what I think is an error but I'm not 100% sure. The error in question are the series of lines on the coins face which run like a star pattern from the roo to the coins collar. Is this an error and if so, does it have a name? Cheers  |

They are metal flow lines and pretty typical of Perth struck copper of this period.

Click on Reply to Topic and look at the Format line at the top of the text box. The second button from the right is Insert Quote.

Kel, When you do this, you'll get "{quote}" "{/quote}", but it'll be in square brackets, and you need to copy the words you want to quote and paste them between the bracketed words. life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved
