3 sets of the westward journey coin and peace medal set
1 proof sac $1.00
1 proof buffalo
1 proof ocean in view
1 replica peace medal limited to 75,000 sets
I bought 1 to keep and 2 to resell later hopefully they will pay for the purchase. I'm thinking I should be able to sell the 2 for the price I paid for the 3 sets.

Any thoughts ?

I tried to look at the info on the nickel/medal sets on the US mint site and the page timed out multiple times so I gave up. How many sets are they making this year? I saw that the presales are already started on ebay. None are completed yet, but there are some with a $39.95 and BIN of $69.95. Obviously, this seller is expecting the same instant price increase that happened with the 2004 sets.

You will probably be able to sell 2 of yours to cover the cost of the 3, but don't get overly ambitious. I would suggest watching how the presales go on ebay and making your decisions based on that. I think that the prices on these are going to level out very quickly at close to issue price. I think we'll get another jump in the 2004 sets, though, as people get the 2005 set and want the 2004 to go with it.
