My wife brought home a pile o change from tips. A Bermudian quarter worth 0.33 Cdn was a treat, and these other specialty quarters, and a Canada 150 Loonie. Quite a proportion of specialty coins as opposed to regular issues piled behind.

Boy yesterday was a good day for us CCF members. Nice finds SilverDon and Dorado. I ran across some different finds yesterday too. It's been a while, but found 2 1 cent coins in a jar helping pack up the inlaws. One is an 81 and an 83. It was nice to score because it's been so long since I saw one like this. Think I'll throw them in with my pocket piece and be one of the few that still have pennies in their pocket.
The other coin is from Cuba, passed off on me as a quarter. I'll take it for sure. A 2008 veinticinco centavos. Haven't looked it up yet. I did notice it doesn't have an effigy. Its weird not seeing a face on a coin. My first Cuban though, and in great shape.

I get so little change in the past ten or fifteen years I throw it all in a big jar without even looking at it. However I got one in change from Shoppers Drug Mart yesterday that caught my eye, 1959 quarter, first silver from circulation in years for me.
Cheers, Bill

Great find Bill. I last got silver 3 years ago. Very scarce these days. But so fun to find.

Scored tonight. A visit with my sister (the cashier) got me a 2017 toonie, it was needed to complete my edge lettering set. 2 Toronto Maple Leaf loonies, 2 2017 Across the Nation loonies, 1 2017 quarter no colour, 2 2017 nickels, and 1 2017 dime. . Thanks Sis. Then I got a 1979 nickel, a second 2018 dime and a 2018 quarter, my first. .
