I put together what I call my "Rainbow" set.... This is a type set of currency with every color of seal. It was not that expensive and a great short set to show off when done. =^)

Collection you have!

I use "Lighthouse" (Leuchtturm) album pages for my notes ...

- OPTIMA (small size notes)

- GRANDE (large size notes)

I started using them since 2006 & they are very protective.

I did change this album. There will be 20 Silver certificates and
24 Federal Reserve notes.

Nice set

With the cost to upgrade your 1928 US Note (red seal), would you consider keeping that note in your collection and spending what the upgrade cost would be on a error note (3rd print on reverse) and have that be the last note in your collection

I know some people don't like errors, but if I were to view your currency album for the first time and spotted a nice error on the last note ☼ you would see me

Not sure how I missed this last year, but very nice!

Thanks Jbuck .. I really should take some update pictures.

There are a couple notes I would like to upgrade and I still have the three hardest $1.00 SC's to get
1928 C
1928 D
1928 E

On my second album I start out with $2.00 notes.
on those I still need the 3 hardest
1928
1928 A
1928 B

my second album has two section
in the second section I am trying to put three examples
of each type note
three red seals
three blue seals
three yellow seals
etc

I am seeing my collecting strategy change in the past couple years .... I like the idea of getting albums like these and putting what ever you want to in them.

I also have purchased four similar albums for coins. I call them my 12 books .. 12 - 2X2's per page .. and I can put what ever coins I want to in them ....

Thanks for the offer ..but .. I really like the looks of a nice 1928 red seal .. Plus there are still 6 or 7 notes I need for my two albums.

I am also thinking of doing another album with just star notes ..

Your error note does sound pretty cool .....

Now you made me go look at my old notes. I was looking to see if I had one of the $2's you needed but it looks to be a 1928 D series.
