Found when clearing out my shed today but no idea what it is. A friend says 3rd or 4th roman but cannot find anything on internet.

Can you get some photos with better focus. Hard to tell what you have from these.

Coin is rather dirty and not sure of best way to clean it up to allow sharp photo

I would not clean it. Just try to get some good lighting and a clear photo. Maybe several at different angles.

The coin appears to be ancient Roman, but would need to see clearer pictures to determine who it might be. Do you see any of the legends? The only thing I can just barely make out is the last three letters AVG for Augustus.

you should allow more space in between your camera and the photo in taking the photo which would reduce blur. I would also recommend a program called Picasa that does a great job of cropping and applying light to photos.
